Hill Wood Hotel

Just south of Bangkok, the Hill Wood Hotel, set in a sleepy seaside town once frequented by Thai royals as their summer playground, still looks the regal part. Rooms have hand-crafted wooden armoires, luxurious silk accents, and the occasional private terrace that overlooks either the tropical gardens or the Gulf of Thailand. The roughly 14-acre garden dreamt up by architect and landscape designer Ar. Daphne Baclor is designed to resemble an ancient Thai village, and water features like lagoons and lotus ponds fill the deeply lush property.

An eco-friendly getaway in Bonifacio Global City, this chic island idyll offers nearly every indulgence money can buy—except those that compromise the resort’s eco-friendliness, that is. Go for a beachside picnic, kick back at an open-air cinema, unwind at a Six Senses spa, and sleep soundly in one of the resort’s 59 one-to-nine room villas, which are built with sustainable materials.

Club Coron Beachfront Resort
Cilantro Beach and Resorts Club

With only 19 expansive guest quarter, this intimate  resort provides a level of privacy and personal attention impressive. Weathered-wood accommodations come with a private garden and an infinity pool, high-ceiling interiors decorated in cane and tropical hues, and an open-air bathroom  and a sea-facing tub for two. The Living Room’s dining spaces range from tables set around the all-glass wine cellar to cushioned daybeds under the stars. Dedicated butlers, or VGCs (very good chaps), exceed expectations with quiet, smiling service. This resort represents the Philippines’ most convenient exclusive destination yet.

Philippine National Zoological Museum

The world’s largest research and museum complex, with 19 museums and galleries, the National Zoological Park, and various research stations. More than 137 million objects detailing Philippines' story are housed here.

The interior features reclaimed and salvaged fittings, paneled walls and a few antique decorations. They were combined with a few contemporary elements and the contrast created is pleasant and beautiful. The interior décor looks rather modest and the goal was to make it look warm and pleasant.
