Founder of Cilantro Architects Inc., in 2010 as the Principal Architect. Daphne’s contribution to the firm is one of the many reasons it now stands as one of the most reliable architectural firms around the world.  But more than its successes in size and breadth, Cilantro’s culture is consistently applauded.

 

As Head Director for the Southeast Asian regions, Daphne helped lead Cilantro into new markets thus expanding the potential of the firm. Daphne also serves on Cilantro’s Board of Directors, chairs the firm’s Executive Committee, and is a member of the Cilantro Management Group.

 

Daphne’s leadership and work have been featured in The Architectural Digest, dwell Magazine, Architectural Record, as well as well-known interior design magazines like Adore Home and Array Magazine. She was recently profiled in “The Power Architects That Are Reshaping New York City,” part of Commercial Observer’s annual Power 100 list, celebrating the most influential individuals in New York City real estate.

 

In November 2015, Daphne will be inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame, a coveted industry honor. She was elected to the International Interior Design Association’s College of Fellows, the association’s highest honor, in 2010.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Don Bosco Technical College in the Philippines and a Master of Architectural Design from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
