Ar. David Morales

Architect, Managing Director

David excels at Heritage Conservation and Preservation in addition to his expertise he also resides as Cilantro’s Managing Director. Invested in the continued restoration of Metropolitan Theatre in Manila, with renowned Architect Gerard Lico, he showed the junction of cultural relativism, art and modern/contemporary design that renewed the vision of the Filipino spirit in architecture.

David is also an advocate for green building design, creative office space and sustainable urban development. He serves on the board of directors and is actively involved with NHCP (National Historical Commision of the Philippines, NCCA (National Commision for Culture and the Arts).

A recognized thought leader in recreational and educational building design and development, David serves on Cilantro’s Management Group and is the youngest Architect to be awarded National Artist for architecture at the age of twenty-four.

​

He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Architecture from Don Bosco Technical College in the Philippines, and a Master of Architectural Design from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City where he serves as Program Chair of the Architecture Department.
